Rabbi Nachman Kahana, author of Aliyah-focused Parsha anthology “With All Your Might “, explains the reasons why some make it to Israel and others do not. He refers to Diaspora Jews who do not make Aliyah as “losers”, but defines the term quite differently than what we are used to hearing. Rav Kahana also addresses the challenge of living with a secular government, and reflects on his 48 years in Eretz Yisrael.
